Hi, I’m Sara, your local Papamoa Property Manager.
I’m also a mother, long-time business owner, homeowner, landlord, and lover of fresh ocean air!
I am happiest when I’m in or near the sea, there’s just something about the beach and the sea air that is so refreshing and good for the soul. Walking is something I thoroughly enjoy, especially when it takes me past my favourite café, Henry and Teds!
Over the years I have loved being involved in community walking events and fundraisers, but I have to say, nothing quite beats a walk on the beach - that’s definitely one of the things I cherish the most about living here in Papamoa. You just can’t beat fresh air and sunshine!
I was born and raised in Dunedin, which is where my love for the ocean first began, but also where I developed my dislike for cold temperatures. As soon as I could, I migrated north and found myself settling in Rotorua, where I raised my three sons. They have grown up and flown the coop now.
I love hosting family events and anything that gives them a reason to come home. Other empty-nesters might be able to relate to that. I guess that’s why I find myself investing a lot of my time and energy into my business - because when you don’t have to dedicate so much of your day-to-day life to raising your kids, you find yourself with a lot of extra time on your hands!
Life threw me some pretty big curveballs (as it does), which prompted my move to Papamoa in 2018. I absolutely love the community here and wish I’d moved here sooner!
In some way, shape or form, I have been immersed in the property industry my whole life. My father was a builder, I married a builder, and my eldest son is a builder. Earlier in my career I was a property manager. Then, in 2012, I started a pre-purchase inspection business which I successfully ran for over 10 years.
I’m a homeowner, a landlord, and have been a tenant. So, when it comes to building, real estate and property management, I know a thing or two.
